INTEGRATED EXPERIENCE, HOLISTIC PERSPECTIVE, MULTIPLE ROLES
As a reflective practitioner, I have been developing my insights and skills through a rich and deep variety of experiences
§ From project manager, to senior manager, to directorate and Board level
§ Handling challenging situations in a wide variety of mostly volatile and crisis situations, across the globe
§ Listening to and working with crisis-affected people, donors and many operational agencies
§ Going through organisational experiences from rapid scaling up to rapid scaling down, expansion and consolidation, financial growth and financial crisis, decentralisation and centralisation, going it alone and partnering
§ Working on effective leadership, responsible followership, team effectiveness and positive organisational culture
§ Supporting needed change without losing trust and keeping what needs to be preserved
§ Considering the profound geo-political, technological and generational changes in our world today, and what it means for individuals, organisations, sectors, international relations and societies.
It has given me a holistic perspective, with a strong ability to zoom in and zoom out, seeing the relevant detail but also the wider landscape, and with a strong appreciation for the personal and navigational skills required to live in and advance through such complexity. And a passion for continued learning.
It enables me to engage with challenges -and help you do so- in different roles: as analyst, expert adviser, process- or event-facilitator, team or organisational coach, mentor, partnership broker, trainer/learning facilitator, evaluator, researcher.
