In a few months much in the world has changed. Local and global mobility are reduced, our social interactions have been affected, and big economic and political changes are underway, the consequences of which are not yet fully clear. Yet our work and relationships have remained as meaningful as ever and, with even greater relevance than before, we connect the personal and professional, and move between system and self. With various clients and collaborators, we have engaged on ‘people’, ‘partnerships’ and ‘power’, on ‘emerging future(s)’ and on ‘change management’. And yes, on COVID-19 and its socio-economic impacts as well. There is a strong connecting theme: People seeking and needing to work together, in challenging situations, times of change and uncertain futures.
Periods of heightened stress can bring out the worst or the best in us. As Patrick Lescioni put it: “what we do in these weeks and how we do it, will be remembered for many years.”
